  • Chemical filter cartridge: you can replace it without getting your hands wet. 

Pull the chemical cartridge out while keeping the biological cartridge pressed down using the proper handles (the biological filtration grid contains beneficial bacteria and for this reason it must not be removed). 
Rinse the new chemical cartridge in running water and insert it in the proper space inside the filter box, 
paying attention to the instructions FRONT/BACK you can find on the cartridge handle. 
The side with the FRONT writing must face the inside of the tank. To keep an efficient filtration it is necessary to replace the cartridge every 4-6 weeks.
